Creating a Safer Media Experience for South Africans

The protection of children is duty imposed on all of us. “Children are a nation’s future”; is not just an empty cliché. Where the best interests of children are concerned we are all duty holders.

The FPB explains the purpose and significance of the classification of films, computer games and certain publications and how classification decisions should be used to protect children from potentially disturbing, harmful and age-inappropriate materials and from premature exposure to adult experiences.
